Full Review: This fall, I decided to invest in a new paddle for creeking. I love my 191cm AT2 Standard paddle for play boating, but wanted a straight shaft paddle that is little longer for winter creeking. So far, I am very happy with my new Werner Powerhouse, each stroke feels really powerful and solid, and the extra reach provided by the length is great for more challenging rivers.

The Good List: The large blades and strong shaft feel really solid.

The Not so Good List: The fiberglass blades wear away and shrink over time. However, it takes a while (depending on use) for this to happen.

The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this paddle for anyone who enjoys river running. The large blades and Werner's reputation for durability make this paddle a great option for kayakers of all skill levels.
