Wilderness Technology Dragon River Dry Pack Review - Next Adventure

Wilderness Technology Dragon River Dry Pack Review

--Product Information--Wilderness Technology Dragon River Dry Pack Product Name: Dragon River Dry Pack Product Brand: Wilderness Technology Best Use: Back pack/dry bag Sizes Available / Specs: It's red and white with black straps and fits my pfd, booties, extra layers, lunch, a water bottle, a pump, and much more. --Test Information-- Location of Test: From home to work and on the river while at work Duration: Many weeks --Ratings-- Value Rating: 9 Durability Rating: 8 Overall Rating: 9 Full Review: So far this bag has treated me very well as I have been using it to ride to work with my paddling stuff and bringing along what I need to in a more compressed version of the bag. It's pretty large with a PFD and a bunch of gear in it, but once I put on the PFD and get paddling it tends to fit nicely into a larger size kayak hatch. It has comfortable shoulder straps and a waist strap to distribute weight, as well as webbing on the sides that have many uses. This bag has done what I wanted it to, and has presented me with nothing to complain about. At $40 compared to the next closest dry pack at $85, you really can't beat the value. The Good List: Good capacity as well as ample back padding in the case that there are strangely shaped objects, high visibility coloring with red colorway. A great pack for commuting, paddling, and for anything else you need to keep dry. The Not so Good List: It wasn't in many spots, but there are a few frayed edges in select spots. I don't see the frays amounting to much, but to give an honest review I should report. So far no tangible damage has been done. I'm still stoked. The Bottom Line: Unbeatable bang for your buck!
