The Smoke is Nidecker's mid-length addition to the Snow.Surf Quiver. Wide open bowls, chutes, resort laps – this thing tears up every corner of the mountain like a shoulder-high peeler. A setback stance keeps more volume in the nose to maximize float and reduce leg burn, with just enough tail to drive through turns and lay down huge banked carves, Torren Martyn-style. Comes in a limited edition board sock; Sex Wax not included.

SHAPE

• Directional: With over fifty years of proven performance, directional shapes have a nose longer than the tail and excel at float, glide, carving and stability in variable snow.
• Surfy CamRock Profile: Surfy CamRock delivers that special feeling of surfing on snow sought after by a new generation of freeriders. With a long rocker in the nose for optimal float and regular camber through the midsection and tail, it has all the reactivity you need to ride with lots of setback and a short tail.

CONSTRUCTION

• Power Rails: An exclusive Nidecker construction inspired by surfboards. The topsheet is wrapped over a rounded wood core to meet a thin sidewall. It's a beautiful finish that's even more stunning to ride, delivering instant drive through the edge.
• Absorbnid Topsheet: An innovative top layer designed to absorb unwanted vibrations. Enjoy a smooth ride with less fatigue.
• Inserts: 6 rows of inserts at 2 cm intervals gives you maximum choice of stance width and works with any binding on the market.
• Triax Plus Fiberglass: The result of extensive testing with Nidecker's riders and engineers, their Triax laminate is oriented at 45° to the board, and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop, and more reactivity on every turn.
• Light Core: Nidecker's lightest ever core is composed of three wood types, including featherweight paulownia and super responsive poplar. Hardwood beech stringers down the centre enhance the overall strength and boost pop.
• N-9000 Base: A lightning quick sintered base made from super dense material with a high carbon content to minimise friction. Wax it on the regs for race-level performance.
• Pop Carbon: Carbon fiber is positioned between the inserts and the nose and tail – boosting ollie power and dampening chatter.
