STALE FISH MEN'S SNOWBOARD - 2025
Ståle Sandbech’s weapon of choice for deep days, powerful all-mountain fun, and groomer ripping. Built with Rome's Directional Diamond 3D in the nose for maximum float in pow, the Stale Fish also features Directional Flax Walls, running from the front insert pack to the board’s nose for additional rigidity and chatter dampening. Designed with a healthy waist width, there are plenty of riders with bigger feet who use the Stale Fish as a reliable daily driver, no matter the conditions.
SHAPE
- FREE-THE-RIDE CAMBER: Designed for all-mountain prowess and float in the deep. Rockered in the nose, flat under the front foot with a positive cambered tail.
- DIRECTIONAL TAPERED SHAPE: Boards with significantly longer noses than tails, typically featuring taper, to help stay nimble and floating in deep snow. Directional boards feature camber profiles that are oriented for all-mountain riding.
CONSTRUCTION
- POP CORE: Rome's most versatile and durable core, bult with alternating strips of 20mm wide Poplar and 20mm wide Paulownia.
- DIRECTIONAL SINGLE CARBON HOTROD: A Rome first innovation, HotRods are thin rods milled into their boards’ cores designed to add additional responsive power. The Stale Fish comes with a single super responsive and powerfully snappy carbon hotrod for all-mountain stability at speed and in and out of turns.
- DIRECTIONAL DIAMOND 3D: A wide, flat running section in the middle of the board, with a gradual three-dimensional curvature means the board is stable when riding flat and initiates turns with ease while floating like a yacht in deep snow. Directional Diamond 3D is found only in the board's nose to help float in deep snow and crank long, smooth turns. Built for premium pow performance while still being stable and reliable on groomers.
- DIRECTIONAL FLAX WALLS: Used in the noses of all-mountain boards to provide additional stability and power to handle steep terrain and impact associated with all-mountain riding.
- SINTERSTRONG BASE: Rome's versatile, low-maintenance, ride-it-all sintered base.
