2000 TRANSFER - MEN'S SNOW JACKETS
The 2001 season was a turning point for 686 and snowboarding in general. Founder Michael Akira West had begun spending more time in the bigger mountains of Utah and BC and decided to design what the factory would call, “The most complex jacket they’d ever produced.” Mike took that as a compliment and ran with the technically robust, overdone build. It really spoke to the athletic tech influence going on in snow and skate at the time. Muted color blocking, lanyard inspired inner taping... this one is a true classic that stands up today!
