The Element has been Arbor’s definition of freeride / all-mountain for over twenty years. And this year, for the first time, it’s available in a Deconstructed version at a value price offering. Same as the Element – the new Element Decon inherits what was the Coda’s shape to give it upgraded mountain-twin performance while maintaining its System Rocker parabolic shaping and Grip Tech contact points, making it a modern classic for resort riding rocker profile enthusiasts.

• System Rocker Profile: Parabolic profiling is a unique shaping technique that replaces the single radius arc found in traditional camber or rocker, with a more advanced parabolic profile. The design blends five separate radii to create a parabolic arc, which gradually reduces the amount of rocker or camber toward the tip and tail. On System Rocker shapes, the design lowers the leading edge to improve edge hold.
• Grip Tech: Added heel and toe contact points under foot improve grip in icy and variable conditions.

CONSTRUCTION

• Bio-Plastic Topsheet: Used in an ongoing effort to eliminate harmful petroleum-based plastics, this Castor Bean eco-topsheet is extremely durable and water repellent.
• Highland I Core: Arbor’s most versatile core, constructed with an equal blend of poplar and paulownia for reliability and durability.
• Extruded Base: A tough, user–friendly extruded base that delivers ease of repair.
• Mixed Glassing: A triax over biax lay-up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, and more.
• Inserts: 2x4 14 Pack Inserts
• 360° Rails: A 360–degree, fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
• Recycled Steel Edges: Highly durable, recycled steel edges embody two of Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.
• Bio-Resin: A replacement for traditional petroleum-based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40%.
