Ski Rental

This past winter was my very first season skiing ever. I always thought of it as an intimidating sport...with so many skis on the market, it's hard to know where to start. Luckily, the rental fleet at Next Adventure has everything you need to get started and stay moving. The staff are all very knowledgeable and can set you up with exactly the right fit boots and skis to get you up to the mountain. With a variety of rental packages, there is something for everyone! This rental fleet is the reason I have a new favorite sport.

Season Ski Rental/Lease

One awesome program available at Next Adventure is the Season Lease program. This is a great option for folks who want to go up to the mountain fairly often, but don’t want to have to come to the rental shop every time they want to go! Just stop in at the beginning of the season to get your skis, boots, bindings, and poles. Shred hard, and then return them once all the snow is gone! I started off with the Recreational Ski Package which includes the Rossignol Experience RTLs. This is the perfect ski package for anyone who is either just getting into the sport or is simply looking for a ski that will get them up to (and down) the mountain easily. These skis are easy to control and maneuver through various types of snowy conditions, from the groomers to the trees. While there are more aggressive and advanced Premium Package options available for lease at Next Adventure, I wasn't looking for that at the beginning of this season. On the other hand, I was looking for something that would help to boost my self-confidence on the snow. With the small turning radius on these skis, turning wasn't too scary and I eventually grew more comfortable in the sport. All thanks to the Next Adventure rental fleet!

Recreational Ski Package

The downhill skis in the rental fleet are awesome to learn on. With a slight rocker on the tip and tail, these bad boys can take you through various types of snow conditions and areas. Do you like to stay on the hard-packed groomers or bomb some trees? The season lease skis can handle it all! In addition, these skis have a smaller turning radius than more advanced skis on the market, making it easier to turn for beginners like me. You'll go from pizza turns to carving in no time! They are very easy to control and can help you to figure out what specs or technical features you'd like to have in a more aggressive ski one day. They are a great introduction to a fantastic (yet often unapproachable) sport.

Premium Ski Package

Once you master the carve and no longer need a small easy-to-turn-on radius, it might be time to look for a more aggressive ski. The Next Adventure rental department has you covered with Premium Ski Packages designed to take your skiing to the next level. Premium skis will often have a more rockered profile along with additional width to perform better on and off the trail. Premium boots will also be a bit stiffer and have a more performance oriented fit.

The Bottom Line

The Next Adventure rental fleet is the perfect ski for the beginner and advanced skier alike, and the season lease program is awesome for anyone who is wanting to commit to a season on the mountain without emptying their bank account. Whether it's your first season or your tenth, you’ll find everything you need to make any day on the mountain an enjoyable experience.
